VANCOUVER, BC, February 22, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ —
Q: What does being a Consumer Choice Award Winner mean to you? How did winning the Consumer Choice Award impact your business?
A: Receiving this award is a big honour for our company and our people. I am fortunate to work with so many talented and experienced people, who are engaged in their roles, and committed to serving our customers.
Q: What are the “core values” of your organization?
A: Respect, integrity, accountability, and genuine teamwork. These core values have helped us to manage the consistent growth and success of a big company while maintaining the heart, values, and agility of a small company.
Q: What is one major decision you make on a daily basis?
A: I look for daily opportunities to show gratitude to others. Sometimes in business, it’s easy to get caught up with challenges and issues, which can easily cause you to lose focus on the many positives that happen each day. Looking for opportunities to say thanks, or give praise, helps to keep things in perspective.
Q: What is the next priority for your business?
A: We are introducing new Care Programs for compressed air systems that provide increased reliability while reducing the total cost of ownership for our customers. Our flexible and affordable programs make pro-active scheduling and budgeting for planned maintenance easy and hassle-free.
Q: What makes your business unique in the market?
A: We have by far the largest and most experienced technical service team in Western Canada and we offer 24-hour emergency service. This unique strength allows us to provide the fastest response times in our marketplace, greatly reducing the risk of costly downtime for our customers.
Q: Where do the great ideas come from in your organization? (Team decisions, management decision etc.)
A: Our company understands the importance of investing in our greatest resource – our people. We provide training programs focused on knowledge and skill development. As a result of this focus, we have built a team of highly capable and creative people who are empowered to share new and innovative ideas.
Q: How do you keep up with the trends in your industry?
A: Personally, I do a lot of reading to keep up with new trends and developments. Wiseworth Canada is also a member of the AIRD Organization (Association of Ingersoll Rand Distributors). This long-standing relationship has allowed our people to network and shares best practices with the top compressed air service providers in North America.
Q: What makes you/your company successful?
A: Our people and our culture. We strive to hire the best and brightest people and to provide a culture of respect, integrity, accountability, and genuine teamwork. No organization is perfect, however, we purposely consider our people and our culture with every major decision we make.
