Company spins out subsidiary to optimize development paths
ARLINGTON, VA, July 19, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — SEMPRE.ai, provider of the resilient secure processing platform for the U.S. military, wireless carriers and industrial infrastructure, announces the spin-out of its subsidiary, NewSpace Networks, to continue their innovation in satellite communication. SEMPRE will retain a perpetual royalty-free license to the NewSpace Networks existing patents and technology, and will enter into a services support contract.
NewSpace Network’s software solutions address network security, reliability and efficiency for enterprise and government customers, including far-edge locations which can only be served by satellite-based communications. SEMPRE will continue its deployment of wireless resilient compute environments for artificial intelligence (AI) and other low-latency applications for defense suppliers, the Department of Defense and select mobile network operators (MNOs).
NewSpace Network’s team, veterans in software, virtualization, space networking and imaging, will continue their work to address the various limitations inherent with satellites. The company’s patented technologies enhance space-based internet and data processing to enable more effective decision-making, optimize supply chain management, and improve operational performance in highly constrained environments.

NewSpace Networks will be led by space and satellite industry veteran, Robert Cleave. Cleave draws on more than 30 years of government and commercial experience, including time as an executive at Lockheed Martin where he served as President of Commercial Launch Services and Vice President of Commercial Space. He has co-founded and managed three space technology startups, as well.
