Pablo states, “I was initially drawn to collaborate with 2050Community after learning of Stefanie’s [the Founder] past work and current drive to build an international arts cohort which will affect positive change on the world. Working with 2050C has been an inspiring opportunity to use art as a platform to connect with a group of artists whose work is created across a vast range of life experiences, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, and language divides. In life, we confront division of every sort: economic, skin color, political, and religious. What we do in those everyday encounters and challenges is so powerful and important to affect positive change for the future. As an artist, it’s my obligation to rise to show a path forward in a world that will never cease to provide barriers and reasons to divide.”
Pablo is currently a board member of Comforting Future Self, the new non-profit associated with 2050Community which formed to benefit the Human Condition through Environment, Experiences and Education. The non-profit allows established artists and art supporters a way to improve conditions in some of the world’s most challenging locations by providing art and garden installations, mentoring, and funding towards income generating projects.
