Crafting Environmentally-Friendly Attire with Celebrity Endorsement and Innovative Sustainability Initiatives

SEOUL, KOREA, September 30, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — While ‘vegan fashion’ and ‘eco fashion’ have been gaining attention, no matter how environmentally friendly the materials are, it is often overlooked if the style doesn’t resonate. The reason why brands that adhere to ethical production methods and present them in a tasteful style are beloved is clear—introducing the designer Eunbi Park, who has sparked a sensation by collaborating with numerous celebrities, actors, and influencers, showcasing various sustainability projects through their eye-catching creations.

Share some information about who you are:

“My journey in the fashion industry began with a role as a production designer at PARTSPARTS, a renowned zero-waste fashion brand. During my tenure there, I was deeply committed to designing with minimal waste, constantly seeking ways to maximize the utility of every piece of fabric.

Later, at AGE D’OR, a prestigious department store clothing brand, I took the lead in a significant project focused on donating B-GRADE products. This transformative initiative breathed new life into surplus SPA clothing items, channeling them into valuable contributions to charitable causes.

My path led me to DEMADEN, where I wholeheartedly embraced sustainable and eco-friendly materials to craft avant-garde denim designs. As the principal designer, I propelled the brand’s dedication to environmental responsibility to new heights.

Continuing my journey at TEX CNJ, I skillfully harnessed surplus fabrics from previous seasons to curate seasonal collections as the chief designer for the esteemed MYCOB brand.”

Who has worn the clothing designs you’ve created so far?

“I had the privilege of collaborating on sponsored outfits with a range of prominent figures, including South Korean actress Han Ji-hyo, singer Lee Hyun, EXO’s Kai, Teen Top’s Ricky, and YouTuber Shin Cook.”

Could you describe your working process and let us know which stage you consider the most crucial?

“In outlining my working process it commences with a meticulous exploration of the enduring allure inherently present within leftover fabrics and garments. During this phase, I engage in extensive brainstorming sessions to devise avant-garde design concepts that convey this intrinsic appeal to contemporary audiences.

I deem most pivotal in this process is the initial paradigm shift. It is imperative to consciously abandon the conventional belief that leftover fabrics and garments lack inherent value. This deliberate perspective transformation is the linchpin of my approach, fundamentally reshaping my perception of surplus products and materials. In doing so, these resources cease to be categorized as mere “leftover fabric,” undergoing a profound metamorphosis into invaluable assets teeming with untapped creative potential.”

Did you find it challenging to prepare for each season in clothing production, not just for sustainability brands? And how did you put sustainability into practice?

“I have pursued sustainability through several avenues, including using recycled fibers and eco-friendly materials, implementing zero-waste patterns and production methods, and reducing waste. My approach to sustainable products focuses on persuading customers through sustainability and captivating them through aesthetic appeal.

I individually consider various elements, such as practical sustainability and the composition of raw materials. Each aspect undergoes a thorough validation process based on sound reasoning.”

What is your most significant portfolio piece that represents you, and could you explain why?

“My most significant portfolio achievement has been my participation as an executive designer at PARTSPARTS in the 2019 FW SEOUL FASHION WEEK COLLECTION. During that event, the spotlight shone on the zero-waste pocket jacket that I designed. More details can be found on my website: https://www.sixshop.com/eunbipark/home

Were there any design constraints when using sustainable materials in your designs?

“Each moment presents unique challenges, from overcoming constraints to fostering customer empathy. Adapting and conceptualizing dynamic solutions is critical. While these challenges may change, I embrace them as opportunities for growth and creative problem-solving.”

How can one practice sustainability?

“To promote sustainability effectively, we should prioritize restoration efforts for environmental damage. Furthermore, during ongoing production, it is essential to exercise vigilance and caution at every stage to minimize environmental pollution and destruction. This approach represents our path forward.”
