Only about 7 percent of the nation’s licensed physicians are selected annually as Castle Connolly Top Doctors in their regions for their specialties.
Dr. Tam is an experienced gynecologist with special expertise in performing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including da Vinci robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and hysteroscopic surgery.
Practicing since 1998, she has owned the Chicago private practice All for Women Healthcare since 2013.
Dr. Tam provides a wide variety of gynecologic services, from annual well-woman exams, hormone therapy, routine gynecologic concerns, and in-office procedures such as biopsy, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, and loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP).
She offers contraception counseling, birth-control prescriptions, and related procedures, including laparoscopic salpingectomy (removal of the Fallopian tubes for permanent sterilization) and insertion of contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices (IUDs).
In addition to delivering routine screening and preventive care, Dr. Tam evaluates and treats conditions including fibroid tumors; endometriosis; irregular and heavy menstrual bleeding; menopausal symptoms; and pelvic disorders such as pelvic organ prolapse. She also has special expertise in fitting women for vaginal pessaries to mitigate the symptoms of pelvic prolapse.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
Dr. Tam is an author and co-editor of two published medical textbooks: “Ambulatory Gynecology” (J. Knaus, M. Jachtorowycz, A. Adajar, T. Tam; Springer Press; 2018) and “Vaginal Pessaries” (T. Tam, M. Davies; CRC Press; 2019).
Dr. Tam receives a great deal of personal fulfillment from improving the lives of women.

She is affiliated with Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago.
Dr. Tam speaks both English and Tagalog (Filipino).

Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania.
